Risk of Insomia
Insomia has several dangerous consequences which include psychological and physical problems. Sleep deprivation can result in disturbed glucose tolerance levels. The body is unable to regulate and produce insulin which can result in diabetes. Insomia can also result in a disease known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome which is characterized by total inability to sleep and lack of energy.
Insomnia also affects personal life such as your job, relationships and most importantly your mood. As the age advances, both males and females are affected by the disorder. Lesser sleep causes less functionality of the body therefore causing elderly people to experience more physical and psychological problems. It is a dangerous and chronic disease and you may experience it for years if not treated. Headaches, sugar, and blood pressure problems is the common nature of the disorder.

Besides this, Insomnia also results in decreased concentration levels, poor memory and motor coordination and has several other dangerous effects on thinking and performance in general. Some studies have shown that the life of people with insomia can be directly compared to the life of people with heart failure and other such diseases. You may also be at risk for attention problems due to the disorder.

Science has effectively shown that Insomia increases certain hormones and activates pathways in the brain that can result in emotional difficulties. Nowadays, scientists are trying to prevent psychiatric problems by detecting and treating insomnia in its early stages.
